Continue exploring Bucharest's intriguing past at Revolution Square. Here, you’ll learn about the pivotal moments that shaped modern Romania, including the Royal Palace, the former Communist Party headquarters, and the striking Rebirth Memorial, commemorating the Romanian Revolution of 1989.
Take a leisurely walk down Calea Victoriei, Bucharest’s oldest boulevard, lined with historic landmarks and elegant buildings, telling tales of the city’s vibrant history. During the walk, you’ll stop at Casa Capșa, an iconic pastry shop renowned for its elegance and history, for a delicious taste of Bucharest's traditional sweets. (Pastries not included).
Midday, we’ll pause for lunch at a historic venue, where you’ll savor a traditional Romanian meal surrounded by the timeless atmosphere of Bucharest's past. (On your own, not included)
For those who wish, an optional visit to the Old Town offers some free time to explore Bucharest's pedestrian area, filled with charming landmarks, cafes, and shops.
We’ll end the tour back at the Marmorosch Hotel, with memories of Bucharest's rich history and vibrant culture.
