Alaskan Wildlife and Whale Watching Expedition
Welcome aboard! As you set sail from the Ketchikan port and embark on your 2 to 2.5-hour journey, you'll be captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the ocean, towering mountains, and pristine Tongass National Forest. Your experienced captain is well-versed in these waters and knows where to spot various wildlife.
The waters of Southeast Alaska provide abundant opportunities for wildlife observation, including seals, sea lions, majestic eagles soaring overhead, leaping salmon, black bears along the shoreline, resident humpback whales, and migrating orcas (killer whales). You'll also have the chance to spot a diverse array of migratory birds that flock to Alaska.
Your intimate passenger vessel offers comfortable indoor seating with large windows, as well as covered outdoor seating and plenty of room to explore the ship's deck. To enhance your experience, you'll be provided with complimentary coffee, tea, bottled water, and light snacks. Additionally, you may use binoculars, rain slickers, and blankets, all complimentary, to ensure you're well-prepared for your adventure.
While the boat does offer wheelchair accessibility on board, please note that the restroom is not wheelchair-accessible.
