Discover a colorful cultural experience at Barriecito, where Mexican tradition and creativity come together. During this hands-on Alebrije workshop, a skilled local artisan will introduce you to the carving and painting techniques behind one of Mexico's most imaginative art forms.

Alebrijes are fantastical creatures brought to life through bold colors, intricate patterns, and whimsical details. Learn about their place in Mexican folk art before receiving your own carefully prepared figure, ready for your personal touch.

With guidance from the artisan, choose your colors and patterns as you transform your Alebrije into a one-of-a-kind creation. As each detail takes shape, you'll gain a deeper appreciation for the skill and imagination involved in this time-honored craft.

At the end of the workshop, take your finished Alebrije home as a meaningful keepsake from your visit. This experience offers cruise guests a creative and memorable way to connect with the culture of the Mexican Caribbean.
