Best of Bermuda

Departing from the cruise ship pier, make your way to the Heydon Trust Chapel, which is the smallest chapel on the island. Built in the early 1600’s, the chapel provides a look into what life was like on the island back then.

Next, travel to the Parish of Southampton, where you will make a short photo stop at the Gibbs Lighthouse. Built in the mid-1840s, the lighthouse offers stunning views over the south shore and the Great Sound. Then as you drive along the coast, take in some of Bermuda’s famous pink sand beaches, including Horseshoe Bay and Warwick Long Bay.

Pass by the Bermuda Botanical Gardens, featuring 36 acres of trees, flowers and shrubs, and Camden, the official residence of Bermuda’s Premier.

Then journey to the south side, where you will be provided with an hour of free time to visit the Old town of St George, dining at a local restaurant, or further exploration. After your free time, you will be taken to Hamilton, the capital of Bermuda. As you drive to the city of Hamilton you will see views of the Italianate Government House (the Governor’s residence), City Hall/Arts Center and Cathedral of the The Most Holy Trinity.

Your excursion will end with a bus ride to the pier as you continue to take in the scenic views of the island.
