Best of Christchurch from Lyttleton New Zealand

Depart Lyttelton and journey through the scenic inner bays to Governors Bay, then climb Dyers Pass to the Sign of the Kiwi for breathtaking views of Lyttelton Harbour and Christchurch from the summit of the extinct volcanic crater.

Arrive at the Sign of the Takahe, a Scottish-style castle with a viewing platform offering stunning panoramas of Christchurch, Pegasus Bay, the Canterbury Plains, and the snow-capped Southern Alps for up to nine months of the year. The platform is accessible via a short five-minute walk.

Next, venture to Mona Vale, a grand historic home with beautiful gardens. Travel through Cashmere and the exclusive suburb of Fendalton, then stroll the grounds along the Avon River. The coach will then travel around to the rear gate house where your tour guide will meet you once you have had the opportunity to explore the grounds.
