Blue Hole Snorkel and Beach with Lunch Celebration Key
Your day starts with a relaxed taxi ride (not included) of around an hour and a half. Enjoy coastal scenery and everyday island life as you make your way to the eastern tip of Grand Bahama.
You'll arrive in McLean's Town, a small and authentic fishing village at the far eastern tip of the island. This is a real working community where daily life is simple and local. The setting is calm and laid-back, offering a genuine glimpse of island living and providing close access to the Blue Hole and nearby reef.
From McLean's Town, you will board your boat and head to the Blue Hole for a drift snorkel. In this experience, the natural current gently carries you along the coral reef. The reef in this area rises closer to the surface, which allows you to see coral formations and reef fish from a close viewpoint. Your guide will explain how to float comfortably and let the current move you. It is important to avoid swimming against the current, as drifting with the water is what makes this snorkel smooth, relaxed, and enjoyable. All snorkeling equipment and life vests are provided.
The reef is a natural habitat, so marine life sightings vary from day to day. Because the ocean changes naturally, every snorkel experience is a little different, which is part of what makes drifting above the reef unique and memorable.
After snorkeling, the day continues at a quiet, uncrowded beach, where you'll have time to relax, swim, or simply enjoy the shoreline. A complimentary lunch and bottled water are included.
This excursion offers a comfortable balance of cultural insight, reef exploration, and peaceful beach time, giving you a natural way to experience the beauty and character of Grand Bahama.
Please Note: The local representative requires a boat fee of $25 US per person, payable to the boat's captain on the day of the tour. Payment is accepted in cash or by Venmo or Zelle. This fee is not included in the tour price.
