Private Tour of Savoca - Forza d’Agrò and Taormina from Naxos

From the departing point we will reach the ancient town of Savoca, a wonderful medieval village, named one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, and located in the Agrò valley.

You will start a little Savoca tour, following the footsteps of the Godfather movie by F.F. Coppola, to whom a statue is dedicated in the panoramic square of the village. This square is very popular also for hosting the famous bar Vitelli. Your tour guide will explain to you its history and its festivals. While walking in the town you will be able not only to enjoy ancient monuments, but also a great and peaceful view of the green country side. Then we will move to the medieval town of Forza d’Agrò, also famous for being the locations of the second and third episodes of the Godfather Movies. Here with your tour guide you will explore churches and historical monuments, as well as the locations of the movies.

Then we will leave for Taormina, known as the “Pearl of the Mediterranean”. You will have a stroll in its ancient Corso Umberto, the main street of Taormina, again the guide will provide historical, cultural and gastronomy information. You will be charmed by the Ionian sea, the dolce vita atmosphere. After the guided visit along Corso Umberto you will visit also the famous Greek Theater (included in the price). Later you will have free time to explore the time on your own and to have lunch or go shopping. Then we will go back to the Four Seasons in Taormina.
