Girona Highlights and Dali Theatre-Museum

Discover the enchanting city of Girona and explore its rich history and vibrant culture. Begin your day by checking in at our office in central Barcelona at least 15 minutes before the tour departure. Board a comfortable, air-conditioned bus and relax as you travel for approximately an hour and a half, giving you time to unwind and anticipate the experiences ahead.

Upon arrival in Girona, immerse yourself in one of Catalonia's most captivating cities, known for its medieval streets, historic walls, and magical atmosphere. Join your guide for a two-hour walking tour through the heart of the old town, where you will explore cobbled streets, the Roman origins of the city, and learn fascinating myths and legends. You will visit the magnificent Cathedral of Santa Maria, noted for having the widest Gothic nave in the world, and stroll through the Jewish Quarter, one of the best-preserved in Europe. Take in the pastel-colored houses lining the Onyar River, which form Girona's most iconic postcard view. After the guided tour, enjoy an hour of free time to explore the city at your own pace.

Next, reunite with your guide to travel to Figueres and visit the Dali Theatre-Museum, a reconstruction of the original museum that was destroyed during the Spanish Civil War. Step inside to marvel at the extensive collection of works by Salvador Dali, observing his artistic evolution and some of his most renowned creations, including the Dali Jewels exhibition. This museum stands as a testament to the historical and artistic value of his work.

After exploring the museum, return to Barcelona by bus, concluding the tour at the same location where it began.

Please Note: This tour is narrated in both English and Spanish.
