Departing from the pier, this exclusive shore event begins with a walk along the ancient walls surrounding the Lower Old Town.

Continue on to St. Nicholas church, where you will venture inside to explore the mysterious beauty that lies within its medieval structure. Founded by German settlers, the church was designed to double as a fortress in the time before the town's walls existed. The building survived many dark days, but was destroyed during World War II. Once restored in the 1980's, St. Nicholas has become a museum that features notable religious art, the most famous of which is Bernt Notke's painting "Danse Macabre" (Dance of Death).

Continue along the streets of Lower Old Town, past the Great Guild House, House of Brotherhood of the Blackheads, Church of Holy Spirit, Town Council's Apothecary, and more. Then enjoy a coffee break in a traditional cafe, where you will be treated to a coffee or tea and a pastry.

After the brief coffee break, board the waiting coach and drive to Kadriorg Park and the Maarjamae area, where you will visit the Victims of Communism Memorial. Opened in 2018, the memorial commemorates the Estonian victims of the communist Soviet Union and "serves as a reminder of the fragility of freedom and of human life."

Once you have had time to explore the memorial, your coach will take you past the Olympic Yachting Complex. You will then be returned to the cruise ship pier.
