Private Douro Valley

Begin your day early and head out of the Cruise ship terminal towards the Douro Valley. The journey is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes and offers scenic views along the way.

Our destination is Quinta da Seara D’ordens, a local familiar wine producer. Upon arrival at the winery, we will have a guided tour of the vineyard and learn about the wine production process followed by a wine tasting session where you can sample the finest wines in the region – you will be given Douro wines and Porto Wines to taste. About 1:30 hours will be spent in the winery.

Next, it is time to return to Porto. We will head directly to a local “petiscos” restaurant and try a wide variety of options, we are sure that you will find something that suites your tastes – we will serve beef croquets, special codfish cakes, salad, bread with olive oil, tomato rice, chicken crispy bites, etc. the point is to share and sample a bit of everything. Drinks included. Then we will have a stop at a local custard tart mini factory – enjoy the famous Portuguese tart along with a coffee.

Then, according to the time available, we will give you free time to stroll around the city before our drive back to the port.
