Your adventure begins at the Stone Church. The local people know it as the Mountain Church, or Nha Trang Cathedral. This gorgeous church was built by the French priest Louis Vallet in 1928. Your next stop is at Long Son Pagoda, one of the largest in Khanh Hoa province. Climb the 193 steps and you will be greeted by a 24 meter high white Buddha statue.

Then head to the Nha Trang countryside and meet artists with 40 years of experience who make clay stoves by hand. You'll visit a mat weaver's house, home to an artist with over 30 years of experience who has been weaving mats since she was 12 years old. Visit an ancient wooden house in Nha Trang and learn about Vietnamese culture and architecture. The present owners have lived here for generations. Stay long enough to enjoy delicious, fresh tropical fruits and a cup of tea. Finally, you'll visit a paddy field, where your tour guide will explain the types of rice which are commonly grown in Vietnam.

You will need a Vietnam visa. Passengers will be granted a Vietnam visa by the cruise line. Some of the cruise lines include the visa within the cruise package. However, if a visa was not included in your cruise package, you pay may purchase one directly onboard. The cost varies anywhere from $5 - $50 US per person depending on the cruise line. Guests must be able to walk unassisted on uneven ground and navigate steps. This 4 hour tour includes entrance fees and mineral water.
