After departing from the port of Marseille, meet your local guide and travel by air-conditioned minibus into the beautiful countryside of Provence toward the Valensole Plateau, famous for its sweeping lavender fields.

As you drive along scenic country roads, you will pass through landscapes filled with vibrant purple lavender. This region is known for its "lavandin" cultivation, often referred to as the "blue gold" of Provence. Your knowledgeable guide will share insights into the history, traditions, and culture behind this iconic flower.

Several stops will be made at scenic viewpoints, giving you plenty of opportunities to admire and photograph the breathtaking lavender fields. During the tour, you will also visit a local lavender producer to learn more about lavender cultivation, its harvest and distillation, and the many products made from it, including essential oils.

The tour also includes free time in the charming village of Valensole, where you may explore at your leisure and enjoy lunch on your own (not included) before returning to Marseille.
