Your exclusive tour begins in the historic city of Basseterre, the charming capital of St. Kitts. As you explore the island’s rich British heritage, you will pass through the heart of the city, viewing landmarks such as the Berkeley Memorial Clock in the city center, Independence Square, historic churches, and the War Memorial. You will also see Pall Mall Square, once the site of a slave market, and areas locally known as the Bird’s Nest.
The tour continues along the island’s scenic western coastline, passing Bloody Point and the ancient Carving of the Rocks. You will also view the old ruins of a sugar and rum plantation at Wingfield Estate, offering a glimpse into the island’s colonial past. You will also enjoy a picturesque 20-minute drive through the lush rainforest to the botanical gardens at Romney Manor and Caribelle Batik, where you can stop to stroll through beautifully manicured gardens, admire tropical flora, and learn about traditional batik artistry.
Next, you will visit the historic and world-renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site, Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park. Known as the “Gibraltar of the West Indies,” this remarkably preserved 17th-century British fortress stands majestically atop a volcanic hill. Enjoy approximately 45 minutes to explore the impressive stone fortifications.
Continuing your journey, travel to the breathtaking South East Peninsula. Pause here for at least 10 minutes to capture stunning photos of this iconic natural phenomenon.
Your final stop will be at Jam Rock Restaurant, where you can relax and enjoy authentic local snacks.
