Any single adult traveling with a child under 18, must provide a death certificate for the non-accompanying parent(s) OR a certified letter from the non-accompanying parent(s) stating: 1) The accompanying parent has permission to take the child across the border, 2) The accompanying parent has the authority to make all decisions regarding any medical care required by the child, 3) Provide a daytime telephone number for the non-accompanying parent where they can be reached if there are any questions.
