Get ready for a full morning in one of the most emblematic places in the region: The Port Wine cellars.

Considered Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2001, the Port Wine cellars tell a story and traditions spanning centuries.

This morning you will also have the opportunity to visit one of these cellars - Caves Ferreira. Created in 1751 by a family of Douro winegrowers, Ferreira is the only Port Wine company that throughout history which has remained Portuguese.

Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira contributed significantly to the consolidation of the brand, through her work on behalf of the Douro and its people. Facing the adversities of her time, she became a symbol of strength still recognized by everyone.

Caves Ferreira invites you to discover a brand with more than 250 years of history. Since the 19th century, Port wine has been aged in hundreds of wooden vats and casks.

After that, enjoy a delicious Traditional Portuguese Petiscos Lunch. Finally, you will be returning back to the pier.

Please note after lunch, the group can opt for a 2km walk by the River (30 min in a flat area) from Gaia to Porto Riverfront to enjoy the beautiful views.
